ME ___ only better ♥

Yesterday was OR/DR duty day. 3-11pm shift at Las Pinas General Hospital. Still had to attend the 8am class at school, rationalization of the NCM lecture prelim exam in which I got a 4.0 grade. HAHAH

Not sad, not sad. Why? Most of them had that grade too. Never in my wildest dream, would I imagine na yung mga classmates ko makakakuha ng mga ganung grade. Section A, mataas ang standars. Mababa kna pag 1.75-2 ang score mo sa exams. Pero dahil ngayong 3rd year na kami at dahil sa NCM, 3.5 & 4.0 is so normal for us. CLAP! CLAP!

Pati sila ganun nadin ang grade. Mataas na pag naka 2.5 ka. Tss. Thanks to NCM RLE, may pang-hatak kami at may chance pang pumasa kami (ata)

So there, around 1pm ata yon umalis na kme ng school. Baclaran bus tas along Quirino sumakay kami ng FX w/c took us to the hospital. Katawa nga si Manong eh, there were other people inside the FX din kse tas somewhere pag baba ng bridge after ng Coastal, pinakiusapan ni Manong ung other passengers nya na bumaba kasi ihahatid nya kme sa hospital. Hahah. At dahil dun, 130 palang andun na kme.. Excited!

I had my first normal delivery patient last night

Puro CS kse kme the last time so Ive never really seen an actual labor and delivery. So yon, our patient kinda looked possessed nung pumasok ng labor room. Nakakatakot sha. Tas yon, andun pala talaga ung bloody show w/c for me looked like a blood fudge. Rupture of the membrane looked like a flowing water lang pala. The tummy was really hard during contractions && whenever may contractions, nagsisigaw talaga si mother. It was around 730 when I peeked into her *toot* and nashock pco na crowning na

Ayun na si baby's head trying to get out. We transported her to the DR tas ayon, MAD si episiotomy. As in. Dahil ba public hospital yon kaya ganun? Grabe talaga. I didnt notice if nilagyan sha ng anesthesia or what. Pero grabeerrs! Talagang ginupit ung sa may vagina nya

Haay-ay-ay! I saw the baby's head pero I think I looked somewhere tas pag balik ko, andun na ung head nakalabas na tas pnull na sha out. Ang great ng miracle of life! Bow ako sa mga momma's na nag NSD

I was assigned sa cord care, w/c seemed like baby care. Hahah. Ayon, I wiped the baby which was covered with meconium, tas ako nag suction. Natatakot ako kse its my first time tas di pa na-llecture samin yon. Haha. I got scared everytime the baby choked, kakaawa. Tas ayon, ang dami pang nagfollow. I bathe, measured, weighed the beybe. Tas nag-inject ng Vit K, tas naglagay ng prophylaxis, tas nag cord care tas.. Tas.. Di ko na ata matandaan. Ayun nag stamp ng feet tas I dressed him up. W'else.. Basta lahat! && lahat ng yon ginawa ko with the assisstance ng CI cos di ko kaya, I was being too gentle with the baby and I was super bagal. Haha. Basta yon, I had fun fun fun!

Malas lang cos after namin, saka palang kme mag eeat tas wala ng food sa canteen. BOO!

Ayon, we were dismissed 1030 kse wala naman patients. We took the jeep from LPGH to Baclaran tas bus from Baclaran to Buendia na. Tired. I ate pag uwi ko cos it was Lala's berday & I missed the kainan
